Today was a family day.
My oldest is leaving in the morning, so the day was filled with togetherness and all the little things that come with preparing to travel packing, organizing, and making sure everything is ready. Those moments always feel a little bittersweet, but I’m grateful for every second.
My youngest son is coming by to spend time with him before he leaves, and that means more laughter, more connection, and more memories. I’m thankful we now have a huge nine seat couch perfect for everyone to gather, sit close, and just be together.
I won’t be on social media much tonight. I’ll only be popping on later to share my Bible study before bed, and that’s it. Tomorrow will be another family focused day, and I’m choosing presence over screens once again.
