Today was a long day, but such an amazing one. I was up super early thanks to helicopters circling for almost two hours over someone who didn’t want to come out for the officers. Since I was already awake, I got ready and went to church. Church itself is a newer thing for me not my faith, not the Bible, but the act of being in church and building community. And honestly? I’m loving it. I even signed up for Bible study in September, and I can’t wait to grow in my faith alongside others. That’s what it’s all about: community, lifting each other up, and learning together.
After church I came home, squeezed in a quick nap, then picked up my granddaughter. We went shopping for the week this time focusing on higher protein meals for training, but still foods my pancreas can handle. After that came a stop at Cold Stone (her treat, not mine!) and then home where I spent some time tabbing my Bible before hopping on the treadmill. I got in just over 2 miles with a weighted vest to make it more challenging indoors. Outside I usually hit the hills, but indoors that vest kicks my butt in the best way.
And I have to say… I am beyond excited because my 30-Day Challenge goes live tonight across all my social media platforms! 🙌 I prepped it about a week ago, and now it’s finally ready to share. I always remind everyone I do these challenges with you. I live them, I push myself through them, and many I continue long after they “end” because for me it’s about lifestyle, not just 30 days.
It’s been such a blessed Sunday, and I feel so grateful. Tomorrow is Labor Day, so it’ll be more of a chill day (minus my usual training, of course 😉). Sending prayers for everyone who needs them tonight.
xoxo
