I had a little stomach thing hit me yesterday thankfully, it only lasted about 24 hours. Yesterday was rough, but today was a lot better. I even got out this evening to pick up a few things, which felt nice after being so out of it. Honestly, just relaxing has been exactly what I needed.
Sleep has also finally caught up with me. I had two nights where I only got about four hour and that is no fun at all. So I took a bunch of naps yesterday (needed every one of them) and today just one quick nap for an hour, which helped. I feel like I'm finally getting back to myself.
Tomorrow, it’s back to my regular routine and first on the list washing my car. It’s looking rough right now 😂. I’ve never been into anything car-related, especially washing or getting gas. It was always easier when I had a house I could just grab the hose and take care of it myself. Now it’s all about finding a car wash and paying for it every time. Thankfully, I’ve got a garage now, and after organizing it to fit my car, it’s such a relief especially knowing it’ll be a huge help during the cold winter months.
Today also marks the final day of the Mental Rest Challenge and I just want to say how incredibly proud I am of everyone who joined me! You are amazing. Seriously, give yourself credit you showed up for yourself, and that’s what it’s all about.
I’ve been finishing up the prep for the next challenge, which I’m really excited about. All that’s left is finalizing the daily post content, and then it’s ready to go! Every time I do one of these, I get more excited because they’re about growth mental, emotional, and physical.
My hope is that you’ll take the best parts of each challenge and fold them into your everyday routine maybe it’s 30 minutes of movement, maybe it’s a daily mental reset. These tools are meant to support your well-being, in a way that fits your life.
Not every challenge will be for everyone. That’s totally okay. Take what works for you, and leave what doesn’t. Some challenges won’t be doable for everyone due to limitations or timing but trust me, there are plenty more coming, and I promise there’ll be something you’ll love and connect with.
I hope you had a wonderful Wednesday. I’m going to putter around a bit, finish up a few things around the house, and then relax and head to bed so I can wake up tomorrow feeling fully back to myself.
Take care of you tonight. 🖤
