Today was nonstop finishing touches around the house, running out for random errands, organizing, building... and trying to find a moment to breathe. For the past five days, I've been so hungry it's wild like my body was screaming for carbs and protein in a serious way. Tonight I finally feel fed, but that move wiped me out. I’d never move like that solo again I'd hire movers every single time. My body is still stiff and sore, and tomorrow I’m starting cardio again. The step count this week alone made working out feel impossible.
But the house is finally settled. I have a frame arriving soon, and everything else is designed and in place. I've cleared the garage and changed the vibe going with grey and white tones, sleek and calm. I'm taking my time in my room barely hung anything yet and that's okay. I’m not rushing.
I love this new place. The patio is peaceful. It’s exactly what I needed after the heaviness of my last space. It’s grounding. I desperately needed peace, and it’s finally here.
So tonight, I’m signing off early to rest. I’m praying my body heals, the bruises fade, and I settle into a rhythm again. Even though I absolutely adore this space, I know when I finally get my own home again movers will be involved, no question. This soreness reminded me of what’s worth paying for.
Hope your Thursday treated you well. Rest easy especially you, future self. You earned it. 💛
