Today felt like one of those perfect summer days starting with a glorious morning at the pool. We splashed, laughed, and soaked in the sunshine with my granddaughter, then came home to relax and refuel. But the day didn’t stop there: we slipped back out to the park for more walking . By the time we circled back, I realized we’d crammed a day’s worth of fun and movement into our Wednesday.
I’m thrilled to say it’s Day 19 of the 30‑Day Movement Challenge nineteen days in, and I feel just as motivated as day one. I’ve been brainstorming the next challenge and thinking about letting everyone pick and choose what works for them. Flexibility and variety it’s more fun that way, right?
Later this evening, I posted a brand‑new video on my YouTube channel. I haven't been behind the camera in years, and jumping back into this creative space felt like a warm hug. I missed the community and the buzz of sharing something real so expect more videos soon.
But elsewhere, I’m preparing for a different kind of focus. I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow for a referral to a dermatologist. There’s a mole under my right arm that just doesn’t feel right, and they want to biopsy it. It sounds scarier than it is most mole biopsies are quick in-office procedures. Healing takes 2–4 weeks, and a small scar is common but manageable and definitely worth the peace of mind
On top of that, I’ve been dealing with some allergic reactions I’ve popped up in itchy bumps from sunscreen and shampoo that I’ve used forever. Sunscreen allergies are rare (less than 1% of people), but when they happen, they can show up as redness, itching, swelling, hives even blisters. Thankfully, patch testing and gentle care can help pinpoint the cause and clear things up fast.
Later tonight, we're having our fourth straight movie night before my granddaughter leaves tomorrow. These movie nights fill our home with laughter and connection, and those simple moments are gold to me.
I hope your Wednesday was filled with joy, movement, creativity, or calm whatever your heart needed today. Wherever you are, cherish those simple blessings, protect your peace, and remember: you're growing stronger with every step. Tomorrow brings new care, new moments, and I’ll be here sharing them with you.
